BeatRide
BeatRide turns music into an indoor cycling class. Choose the ride (hills, endurance, intervals or HIIT) and how long, and BeatRide builds it from your Apple Music playlist or picks the songs itself: warm-up and cool-down with the calmest songs, climbs at 60–80 RPM, sprints where the music hits hardest, and the cadence on the beat. The rules come from exercise science (ACSM guidance, heart-rate zones, proven interval formats), and every class tells you why it is built the way it is.

Your class: its shape, and why it is built that way
Riding: cadence on the beat, the move, the zone and what is next
What it does
One job, done well.
- 01 / BUILD
A class, not a playlist
Warm-up, work and recovery in the right order, with limits for your level and a health check first. Every move tells you posture, cadence, heart-rate zone and effort, and changes land where the music changes.
- 02 / MUSIC
Your songs, or ours
Build from any of your playlists, or let BeatRide pick from Apple Music by style and decade. Songs crossfade, and a cut never lands right before a drop: BeatRide knows the shape of thousands of songs.
- 03 / RIDE
One screen, made for the bike
Cadence on a ring that pulses with the beat, the move and its countdown, effort and zone, what comes next and the whole class as a road. Your rides go to your history and, if you want, to Apple Health.
Privacy
Yours, not ours.
Your rider profile, health-check answers and song marks stay on your iPhone, and your class history syncs through your own iCloud. Your display name and username are kept in BeatRide's iCloud database so that usernames stay unique. To measure a song, BeatRide measures its Apple Music preview on the device and sends its title, artist and length to LRCLIB (song timings only). The microphone is used only by Learn by listening, which keeps measurements and never records. No ads, no tracking.
