Tandem
Fifty-fifty is only fair when you earn the same. Tandem takes two incomes and every shared expense — rent, groceries, the dinner out — and splits each one in proportion, so the month ends with a single transfer that both of you understand. One phone keeps the books for both.

Proportional by default
Enter both incomes once. Every expense is split by that ratio — or 50/50, or paid in full by one of you, or, with Tandem Pro, any share you agree on — and the ratio is frozen with the expense, so a raise next year never reopens last year's months.

One number a month
Who paid what, who owes whom, and the transfer that squares it. Mark it settled; undo it if you were too quick.

Where it goes
Recurring expenses that log themselves. Tandem Pro adds reports by category and month, reminders to log and to settle, widgets, a CSV export and colour themes — a one-time purchase, with a free 30-day trial.
Privacy
Yours, not ours.
Tandem keeps names, incomes and expenses on your device and in your own iCloud account; none of them is shared with anyone, not even with us. Anonymous usage statistics of our own, never a name or an amount, which you can turn off in Settings.
